I hope everyone has a wonderful valentines day! Thanks to everyone who participated in our valentines day special. We got loads of great images and created some ADORABLE valentines for friends, family and classmates

So this session has been a long time coming. Mom and I met this summer when our boys played baseball on the same team. Really enjoy hanging out with them! They brought the Harley and their ipods. Is that one cool bike, or what? I have sooo many favorites…so many! My daughter has a bit of a crush on these two. I can see why, such handsome boys!
What can I say except from the very beginning there was the “G” family. I adore them, I have a blast when I photograph them, they totally get my style of capturing real moments. I could have closed my eyes and just picked images from their gallery. I love them all! Thank you “G” family for your continued support and I am thankful to be your photographer
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen this little fella. I told his mom that I can still see his little newborn features even now. He was a busy one and we had to be fast, but did manage to capture some still moments
A few weeks ago I was designing a book for a client and went searching for quotes about brothers. I found this quote and when I read it I got chills and knew it was perfect for the page. Then a week or so later was designing a birth announcement and again thought it was a perfect match to the image. I just love it and was wishing I had an image of my boys so that I could use it to. Well, this past weekend we did some family images and I got an image of them together I absolutely love so now I get to use this beautiful quote too :)
Still trying to catch up on posting. Here is another one of my favorite families….
I arrived for my last session before leaving for Chicago and realized I forgot my cell phone. I never foget my cell phone…ever! 10 minutes go by, then 15, still no clients. 20 minutes go by and I really start to panic, I have never been stood up for a session and have shot this family before so I started to worry something had happened to them. Nearly half an hour goes by and in drives my husband to the the gardens. Thankfully my cell phone rang several times at home and he thought he better answer it! It turns out my clients were waiting for me at the Peoria botanical gardens, not the ICC gardens. Oops!
They flew to the ICC gardens and although we didn’t have as much time I think we got some keepers. Mom is patiently waiting for some sneak peeks so she is going to get a LARGE one.
I’m sorry for the confusion “H” family and will be more specific next time:)
I believe I have caught up on all e-mails and voice mails. The Chicago session went better than I could have hoped for. Awesome families and the Chicago botanic gardens were just incredible. I have a lot of sessions to proof and am going to get back to them right after I post these images. I meant to post more of these three, but it sort of slipped by me so this isn’t really a sneak peek, but wanted to share anyway. I have more maternity images from our outdoor portion to post but will get to that a bit later.
