I feel like a broken record when I say this, but here is another little one I photographed for the first time when she was brand new.  Must be doing something right, huh   We have had many sessions together and can’t believe sometimes how fast these kids grow.  One of the things that really tugs at my heart when photographing them  is hearing them talk.  To go from baby coos and squeals, to first words, then communicating in complete sentences just makes me melt every time.  So much personality wrapped in this beautiful little person…

Today is Ryan’s 12th birthday!  I’m still trying to wrap my brain around having a 12 year old.  I guess when he was a baby I never imagined he would ever grow up.  We are so so proud of him. 

I decided to include his new toy (an ipod touch)  in the shots thinking that he would be a bit more excited about shooting.   Well, during our little session he got a text message on his cell phone.  So he pulled out his phone from his pocket and had his cell phone in one hand and his ipod in the other.  I snapped the first shot and told my husband this is the one we should hang on the wall to represent Ryan at 12!!  I’m all about capturing real life and honestly that is what I see on a regular basis everyday!

One of my clients made this brick wall for me!  It worked perfectly for Ryan’s photos!  Thank you “P” family!!

Her mom tells me she checks my blog all the time!  I love that!  Thanks to all of you who stop by to read my ramblings and check out new images.  It’s a good thing I post to the blog because my website galleries are in serious need of updating

I photographed little “G” when she was brand new.  Now she is a wobbly little walking ONE YEAR OLD!  Have I ever mentioned how much I love watching these kids grow?!  She is just as cute as can be and mom and dad brought all kinds of great props and outfits to use   When she got out of her car seat and grinned at me I knew it was going to be a fun session.  Now, I had a TERRIBLE time deciding what images to post.  I LOVE THEM ALL!
