I find this next image to be quite funny. Not even because dad is making a goofy face at me, but because I had no idea he even did this til I was proofing their session. You see, I was so caught up in getting their little guys attention I didn’t pay a bit of attention to mom and dad! Love this family and always look forward to photographing them.
So what do you do if you have a new pair of cute rain boots but no puddle to play in?
You make one!
This little guy dug into his birthday cake and made a huge mess! I thought for sure he’d want to splash and jump in the water. He wasn’t so excited about making a mess in the water but still got some cute shots. I have a great outtake of his daddy and some great images from downtown I’ll share in a bit.

Ok, I can’t stand the silence around here. So just in case you are having trouble figuring out how to post I’m gonna give you some instructions:
When you are on my blog under each post there will be a bar at the bottom that says “posted in”. This could say newborns, info, mine, kids, ect. Click on the category under the post (newborn, info, mine, kids, ect.)
You will then get a list of the posts in that category. So if you want to post a comment in say, “Sometimes I get lucky” post you would click “comments” under that title.
A white box comes up. You will type in your comment and when you are finished you click post comment. I then get an e-mail to approve the comment.
I know your checking so let’s hear from you! You don’t even have to use your real name!

Just in time for holiday cards! I actually got a couple of all three together and one of each I love…
I have probably photographed this little guy more than any other client. We started when he was brand new and do a session every few months. I cannot believe how fast the time has gone and it makes me a little sad to see him getting so big. To hear him talk and watch him walk, well it’s pretty amazing because it seems like yesterday Colleen and I were shooting his newborn session. He will be a big brother in the next few months so congrats to mom and dad and can’t wait to meet the newest member of your family!!
