I’ve been photographing this little doll since she was brand new! She’s a bit shy but good golly she’ll turn on that smile for sucker like no one else! Loved her outfit and I especially loved those adorable boots! I have pretty small feet so when she changed into the ballet outfit it was temping to hide them in my camera bag. I hope you all had a great holiday and new year. I went back to shooting yesterday with a brand new baby born on Christmas. Thanks for your patience as I catch back up and tend to a sick kid at home. I enjoyed the lazy days, lots of food and time spent with my family, but I am definitely ready to get back to creating some images.
I fail at this blog thing. Like really fail. I’m trying to make a better effort but FACEBOOK is so easy to get images out there and I just get lazy. I however have changed my photo and updated the top image in an effort to start posting again. I wanted to share our family Christmas card with all of you. We’ve been planning this for quite some time. As you can see, sports, school, business and work keep us on the go most days. This winter has been especially hectic. This card is totally us! We are in the place where we gather, doing the things that we love and make up our busy lives. My family LOVED doing this. Usually family photos are not their favorite day. This time they each put in their input, decided what we’d wear and executed it with smiles on their faces and loads of laughs. I love it so much! It is the Walton family 2015! Thank you so much to each and every one of you for another amazing year. Merry Christmas and Happiest New Year to all of you!
Happy Spring!! I love this time of year! I’ve been confined to the studio setting all winter and it’s always refreshing and gets my creative juices flowing to be able to get outside. I noticed this yellow tree on my way to the studio and it inspired this last minute mini session. I don’t do many mini sessions, and they always sell out so I don’t see these lasting long. I’m also trying this sign up thing for the first time so hopefully it goes smoothly. I only have 10 slots available. A fun umbrella, some rain boots and this gorgeous tree will be the perfect art for your walls! I will send an invoice when I receive your sign up. Payment holds your slot! Maybe you didn’t get those class of 2014 senior images yet or you’d like to be ahead of the game for 2015. This mini is perfect for both! Since we will have a Class of 2015 SENIOR in our house I thought it would be fun to do a few more senior sessions this year. This is FANTASTIC deal. I don’t do many mini sessions and I have never done a SENIOR mini. The fee includes the session fee. Sessions must be paid when booked and there are only 5 available as summer/fall is my busiest time of year. All sessions will be photographed at the studio Monday-Friday. No weekends. All images you see below were photographed outside at the studio and I have a large selection of backdrops inside.
Mini Session day will be Saturday Jan. 25th. I have 10 sessions available. Please e-mail me at Shannon@shannonwalton.net. I’ll need your e-mail address for sending the invoice and your top two appointment time preferences. They will be booked in the order I receive payment. The session is $65, 20 minutes, one chalkboard background, maximum of 2 kids. You’ll receive 4 digital files e-mailed to you. I will have a couple heart props and a red chair if you’d like to use them. The beauty of this mini is you can use them for Valentines and because I’ve chosen a neutral background you can display them all year round.
