Shannon Walton Photography bio picture
  • Hi There!

I have been married to my high school crush for 17 years. I can honestly say I'm as much in love today as the day I convinced him he wasn't getting rid of me :) We have 3 amazing kids. 2 boys and a girl. Each of them are completely unique and as individual as can be. I like that. It would be boring if everyone was the same. It may sound cliche but they truly are my inspiration.

I have been told I have a gift for seeing babies and kids the way their parents see them. I like that too. I want to be a trend setter, I don't enjoy the view of someone's coattails. While wanting to constantly be challenging myself to come up with new ideas my main goal is to give you images that you will treasure for years and years to come.

I really do have the best clients on the planet, so many have become dear friends. Thank you to those of you who have trusted me with your precious memories. I look forward to making many new friends in the years to come.

Don't forget to check us out on Facebook!

2 spaces available!

I have a 5:30 and 6pm space available tonight for our Tux Special.  Here is an example of a series I photographed last weekend.  You will treasure these ALWAYS, I promise!

Tux Special

ATTN PARENTS OF BOYS! Do you have a son renting a tux for Prom? Many girls bring their prom dresses in for senior pictures but since most boys rent their tux it isn’t an option. This was one of my FAVORITE images of my son. It’s timeless. It’s displayed in my entryway. I’m offering a tux special. Contact me to set up a session and for pricing information only available during the month of April. It’s the perfect addition to a senior album! I will work around your rental time!  Please message me at shannon@shannonwalton.net

Spring, Outside, Mom and Me Mini!

It’s getting warmer and I’m itching to get outside.    I have a couple outdoor locations in mind and will check the scenery and light when it gets a bit closer.  Sessions will be on April 23rd with a rain date Sunday the 24th.  We’ll start around 3 pm.  Sessions will be 20 minutes, you’ll receive 5 digital files with a print release.  Cost is $75 and limited to the first 10 clients who book.  Email me at Shannon@shannonwalton.net to reserve your spot!

Valentine Mini Sessions 2016

I don’t do a lot of mini sessions, typically only a couple a year.  This year we have two kids traveling for sports and it seems days go by that we aren’t home.  I was dragging my feet on doing them this year, but thankfully one of my clients gave me a little nudge and here is what I came up with.  I can only do 2 evenings next week.  These will be Wed. Jan 20th and Friday Jan 22nd from 4-6 pm.  They are 20 minute sessions, 2 sets to choose from and 5 digital images retouched with a print release.  The 4 pm on 20th and the 5 pm and 5:40 pm spots have been reserved already from my business facebook page.  The cost is $75.  The session fee reserves your session and an invoice will be sent to the e-mail you provide.  Please e-mail me at Shannon@shannonwalton.net with a day and time frame that work for you.  Thank you to these two brothers for helping me test my sets!  Aren’t they adorable?!  The grey wall with heart is also great for girls.  In fact, I have Valentines of my daughter on that background and a large canvas printed.  It’s one of my favorites.  We don’t have to use the truck and the truck in the images was brought by my clients.  I do have a really great little red truck we can use.  “A truckload of LOVE”.  Have a great weekend!

**Update** Friday is FULL!  All slots are open on Wed except for the 4-4:20.  Thank you!

Miss “K” is 4!

I’ve been photographing this little doll since she was brand new!  She’s a bit shy but good golly she’ll turn on that smile for sucker like no one else!  Loved her outfit and I especially loved those adorable boots!  I have pretty small feet so when she changed into the ballet outfit it was temping to hide them in my camera bag.  I hope you all had a great holiday and new year.  I went back to shooting yesterday with a brand new baby born on Christmas.  Thanks for your patience as I catch back up and tend to a sick kid at home.  I enjoyed the lazy days, lots of food and time spent with my family, but I am definitely ready to get back to creating some images.
